Who am I?

A long story short:

A carbon-based, multi-tasking, unanswered riddle living in an unknown time on a pale blue dot that is not his home; he is just passing through as entertainment.

... and a short story long:

I have been hungry to be involved in bringing stories to life since I portrayed the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach in a school play when I was in second grade at Skälbyskolan in the late 1990s.

I attended Aesthetic Program - Theatre at Sollentuna Fria Gymnasium between 2008 and 2011, hoping to satisfy my hunger to express myself on stage. Instead, my taste for blood grew stronger.

2017 was the year that I seriously started to follow my passion for the performing arts. I attended a beginners' course at Kulturama, led by Michael Hamory. During that course, I learned to make the most of my spontaneity. On stage, this spontaneity has become my driving force and I always get a good use of it in improvisation.

I felt motivated to enhance my acting abilities during this course. In the fall of the same year, I took an advanced course in acting under the instruction of Catarina "Cacki" Westerlund.

I applied impulsively for the horror attraction Motel Hell/o at Gröna Lund during this course, and I got the job. I was cast as the demon, the attraction's final major fright. That fall break and Halloween 2018 at Gröna Lund thus became my first professional theater performance.

On Valentine's Day 2019, I had the honor of portraying a bartender as an extra in season 2 of Before We Die. This was my very first professional appearance as an actor in front of the camera.

In the same year, I continued to study stage performance in the form of a course in method acting, again at Kulturama under the guidance of Catarina Westerlund. It was an important course for me, as I learned a technique to use when portraying a person who has little in common with my personality.

In 2022, there was another theater course at Kulturama, namely a course in the Meisner technique, again led by Michael Hamory, and two courses at Cinemantrix: a beginner's course in film acting and a subsequent advanced course, these occasions led by Lukas Loughran.

As a working, freelance actor, I have been involved in nearly 100 productions. Being part of these projects has allowed me to work with creative teams and talented people, as well as gain a deeper understanding of acting. Each project has been a different adventure that has expanded my creative horizons and fueled my desire to have a positive impact on the performing arts.

What do I do when I'm not busy pretending to be someone else?

At most, you'll find me in a field or wooded area, maybe even in an art gallery, or nose deep in a text or non-fiction book. The history of ideas, East Asian history, or language are frequent subjects. Additionally, this language's membership in the Sino-Tibetan language family is not wholly out of the ordinary.

Occasionally, I use image editing software like GIMP 2, Photoshop, or even the original Microsoft Paint to paint images.

In addition, I'm a huge fan of music and enjoy curating massive Spotify playlists with my favorite genres of beloved audio art.

I could write a long, long essay about myself and continue this solo cacophony. But I worry that I might bore you readers to death. Thus, I have decided to write these words to wrap up this wall of text:

In addition to acting and my experiences, I have a wide range of interests that I pursue via studies, performances, classes, and other activities. Either on stage or off, I hope to see you!

With kind regards,
